Who to talk to if concerned


1. When is the best time to talk to the teachers?

   You will be given an opportunity to talk to your child's teacher at the Parent Consultation Meetings or if it is something more urgent please speak to the school office who will arrange an appointment for you.

2. If I have a complaint, how do I go about it?

   Please speak to the class teacher first and if you feel the issue is not resolved please arrange an appointment with the headteacher.

3. My child is being picked on at school, what can I do?

  Please speak to the class teacher as soon as possible.

4. My child is worrying and getting upset about school, what should I do?

   Speak to the class teacher

5. I cannot afford to pay for school trips, will my child miss out?

   No, please arrange an appointment with the headteacher to discuss funding.

6. My child has an illness that needs regular monitoring, is this ok?

  Please discuss this with the class teacher.

7. We are a very religious family, will our wishes be honoured at school?

   Please discuss this with the class teacher.

8. My child has broken his arm/leg, can they still come into school?

   Yes, if they are feeling ok they can come into school and, if you wish, play inside at lunch and playtime.

9. My child has a wheelchair, can they still come to school?

   Yes

10. We do not want our child to have their photo taken at school, will this request be honoured?

   Yes
