Nessy, a website with games and activities for children to help them with reading, writing and spelling, are offering a free trial. This website is great for children with dyslexia or those who have particular difficulties with reading, writing and spelling. You can sign up for the free trial directly from their home page.

Teach your monster to read is a free to sign up to website for children to practise their reading and spelling skills. 

 

  Oxford Owl - Reading

Oxford Owl is a website with a wide range of free e-books for children to read. If you do not know your child's reading level, you can select from the age ranges or there is a simple test on the website that will help.

There are also activities for reading, English and maths, grouped by age or year group.

Reading Eggs has plenty of online games and reading activities to interest and engage your child. They are currently offering a 4 week free trial.   Cricksoftware

Clicker, an alternative recording method as a word processing tool, is something some children use in school already. It is great for helping children get their ideas onto paper, helping with spellings and providing visuals. It is free to sign up to on the Clicker website. Please email if you need any help with this.
