Online Safety

Keeping Safe Online at Home and at School

It is important that children understand the many benefits of being online, but also how to keep safe and what steps to take when reporting any concerns. At Abbot’s Hall Primary School, we encourage children to talk openly and confidently about concerns they may have around internet safety.

As part of the Trust’s ICT and Internet Acceptable Use Policy children and parents / carers are asked to sign an acceptable use agreement

Talking to your child about Online Safety

It can be difficult to keep up with rapidly evolving technology and knowing how to keep your child safe online. It is important that parents/carers speak to their children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online to remain consistent in the messages we send between home and school.

When talking to your child about online safety SMART is a great place to start
